Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this.
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him…

Got Our I-72
I'm so glad that I got my I-72 today! Don't think I could have stood it if I had to wait another day wondering what the problem was. Some questions that our oldest daughter needed to answer were left out of our home study. Sooo...an addendum is being added and I will send this to USCIS. Guess I'm looking at yet (at least) another week to go by before we get our I-171. sigh. In the meantime...God is so good and faithful. Trusting in Him!

I-72
Oh golly....I got an email today from USCIS informing me that they have sent an I-72 today. This is a request for more information regarding our case. I know that it will all work out, whatever it is, but I tell you this sure gets me down. I hope I get it tomorrow so that I will know what the deal is. I just want to go and sit and have a good cry...just 'cause it would feel good. Please be praying that this will all pass quickly.

Still No I-171H
It's so depressing to post everyday that that silly document still has not come. So....I will be SURE to post the day it DOES come! I sent an email to USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services) just to check on our status...and they sent back a reply stating that our case is still in process. sigh. There was a fee change right when we applied, and so they had a huge increase of applications...which as a result, has slowed the process down. (another sigh). BUT....none of this was a surprise to God!! :o) He's so in control of all of this! Trusting in HIS most perfect timing! (happy sigh!).

Waiting......
I am praying that TODAY is the day that we get our I-171H document in the mail today. It has been 4 (very long) weeks since we were fingerprinted. They say it takes on average 2-4 weeks to get this document.....but can be as long as 6 weeks!! At this point I just want to KNOW that I'm going to get it. This is the last document that we are waiting on before we can hand over all of our documents to our agency. We are going to use our agency's courier service to have them send our documents to the US State Department and the Chinese Embassy for the final steps of the authentication process. Let's pray that my mailman brings that document today!! :o)
