I can't stand it! My little Lexie is growing up! This is the last year she'll be living under our roof. :(( I'm going to be seriously depressed when she leaves the nest.

Friendship

A couple of weeks ago Karleigh Mei had someone come and visit her. 

Two pretty girls, both with pink glasses. (hot pink of course)

There was a slumber party. 

Two girls who give squeezy hugs.

And laugh together. 

And hug some more.

And share a giggle {or two...or three}.

Friendship is sweet.

What is nice with a friend you've known all of your life, is that even if it's been 2 years since you've seen each other, you just pick up where you left off.

Thank you for coming to visit Shayna!! It was wonderful to see you and meet your mama and grandma!

Friday Night Lights

One thing that I really love about our school is that it's pre-k through high school. So during the football season we all gather as a school on Friday Nights when there is a home game! Karleigh Mei LOVES going to football games. And...ahem...it has nothing to do really with football. It's the friends she sees at the games and the RING POPS!! Ha ha!

I totally swiped these pics from someone's facebook page. I haven't asked for permission, but I'm thinking it'll be okay. I need to find out who it was exactly who took these pics!

I wish, oh wish, oh wish, I could post pics of our darling itty-bitty girl!! She's made it to a couple of football games as well! And let me tell you...she's got some adoring fans as well!! :)

A few updates on our Annie girl. 

She is, hands down, the sweetest baby!!!! She's soooo nice!!! You look at her and she just smiles and smiles! Melt. My. Already. Melted. Heart. Sigh.

She sleeps through MOST nights. And the nights that she does wake up, you can't help but just pick her up and love on her! I mean, how could you not when you see a happy, laughing baby kicking her arms and legs in eagerness as she awaits for you to pick her up. Melt. MY. Already. Melted. Heart. Sigh.

She's a good eater. She's a good burper. She does NOT spit up. She's never had a diaper rash. Her baby acne time was so quick and she hardly had any. 

Her hair grows forward, like it's windswept. I believe it happened when the Lord breathed Life into her and whispered to her how much He loves her. Yea. It's that adorable.  And God knew I'd love it so!

Sometimes, she wrinkles up her nose when she smiles. 

She's starting to laugh. And it startles her. Oh my. Melt. My. Already. Melted. Heart. 

She does not have an annoying cry. AT ALL. In fact, it's really cute! But with the amount of people who love her in this house, we hardly hear her crying!

She goes right to sleep at night. Sweet baby. Most of the time with a smile on her face. 

How could there be a sweeter baby!!?? 

She has wrapped her sweet, tiny little finger around all of our hearts. It's so entwined it will never come out. 

We love you our darling Annie!!

Karleigh Mei Update! :)

My sweet friend, Leslie, asked how Karleigh Mei is doing, and I realized I've really not updated in a long time! Life is wonderfully, crazy busy! Three teenagers, an almost 5 year old, and a baby keep me hopping from morning 'till night! 

Karleigh Mei loves school. I mean she really, really, REALLY loves school! I haven't had a parent teacher conference yet, but I believe she's doing well there too! She has weekly Bible verses she has to learn and the only problem she has, is that she can't forget the ones previously! HA! Most of the time she goes down the list until she gets to her most recent one. :) 

Last night I took a QUICK video of her reciting her verse for today. You'll notice how much she loves being in the spotlight. :) Forget that she's only in a blouse and she doesn't have on her glasses, and her hair has seen the whole day. :) 

Here is my darling girl, Karleigh Mei. I smile just watching it again and again. She is a marvel and a delight!

A quick update on our precious little baby, Annie. She is doing fantabulous! She is SUCH a doll baby and a blessing! She's easy to smile and is always so happy. She is beginning to laugh now and it is the sweetest thing ever!! Knowing I missed all these sweet firsts with KM has made me really appreciate this special time. We will for sure have her until after Christmas. And if the Lord wills, longer, if not forever. We are trusting in Him and praying for her birth mother!
