Whew! What a week it has been!! It's the kind of week that you need a break from your break! :o) My kids have had spring break this past week--and it's been a busy one!
Gannon's birthday was March 15th. We are the family that celebrates and celebrates and celebrates! Gannon had 3 birthday cakes!
This picture is Gannon at home with a celebration with
his friends (12-13 yr. old boys really smell after playing basketball outside) :o) This was the
day before his birthday.
We then had a celebration the day of his birthday. This next picture was before the cake came out.
We then went to my parent's house and my mom baked him ANOTHER cake and we celebrated again!
My sister and her 3 little boys were there to help celebrate the birthday. This next two pictures is of Lexie pushing the twins in my Grandma's walker. Too cute!!
It was St. Patrick's Day so we had to have the traditional green waffles!!
I love this one---Gannon and Garrison and Noah all slept in this couch-pull-out-bed!
So we had lots of fun at Grandma's house and we got home in time for our cat (this cat was a neighborhood stray. She has had at least 2 litter of kittens in the wild--those kittens were feral (wild) kittens. We wanted to put a stop to the growing cat population in our neighborhood and so we decided to adopt her, raise this last litter (so that they weren't wild), find the kittens good homes, and then get Dandelion (what we named her) spayed.)....back to my story.....so we were excited about getting home in time for Dandelion to have her kittens. Wednesday of last week she had her litter, but they were all stillborn. :o( We were so, so, so, sad. On Thursday I was thinking aloud (I do this quite often) and wondered if any Vet.'s or humane society had any orphaned kittens who needed a mama. Lexie jumped all over that...called around town....and found some!!! If you want the rest of that story, jump over to Lexie's blog--she's got pictures and everything! :o) Her blog is click ----> here.
And here is one last picture. It's of Gannon cuddling with Dandelion before we got her kittens for her.
And I have NO (sob!) pictures (sob!) of the rest of the week with my brother and his awesome family that came to visit us for Easter (sob, sob, sob!).

Hi Jenn! Looks like your family had a wonderful Spring Break. I'm so glad that you guys got some kittens. :) That's super fun!
You've certainly had a lot going on! I read about the kitties and am amazed at what you did.
Looks like you had so much fun with the family and furry family, too.
Hope everything else is going well and that you're feeling peaceful about the wait for Karleigh Mei.
Love,
Lisa
Such sweet pictures!
Blessings ~
