Karl took Karleigh Mei on a shopping trip yesterday, and they ran into Santa! This was the first time she has been able to sit and talk with him. After she visited with him for a while and told him what she wanted for Christmas, they went on into the store. Karleigh Mei then told Karl that she wanted to go back out and talk with Santa again and find out if he knew her name! :) Karl was trying to cover for the big guy, and told her that he was probably really busy and that he needed to talk to a lot of children.
Just Karl's luck, when they went back out there, Santa was NOT busy. So as they were walking up to him, Karl said, "KARLEIGH MEI, I'm sure Santa knows your name," to which Santa responded by saying, "Why hello again, Karleigh Mei!" Karleigh Mei then turned to Karl, with a scowl on her face and said, "I want to know if Santa knows my BROTHERS names!" Ha ha ha ha ha! I'm not sure how Karl covered that!
Here is our girl sitting and having a chat with the big guy. I just love how she twirls her hair when she's a bit nervous! Too cute!

That braid twirling reminds me of my younger sister when she was little. Always twirling when she was tired or overwhelmed. So precious!
