Christmas 2010

So I'm trying not to think about the court hearing next week and keep my mind busy on other things. Doing a post on our Christmas is just the ticket!

We had such a fabulous Christmas this year! Katie and Blake were with us from Katie's birthday (23rd) until the 28th. I love, love, LOVE having allll my babies under my roof!!

Here they all are on Christmas Eve. Am I a blessed mama or what!!?? Hoping some day I won't have to put a flower over my bittiest girl's face.

And just my girls. Left a bit of Annie's most precious smile in this pic.

I was so excited to be able to get a set of pearl earrings/necklace for Karleigh Mei from China. She is quite proud of them! So sweet! I pray we will be able to take good care of them to pass down to maybe one of her daughters/grandaughters one day!

Karleigh Mei with the ONLY thing she was asking for! Dora and baby Boots! To say she was thrilled about this gift is an understatement!

I have more pics of our Christmas morning, but Annie is in a lot of them. It's hard for me to put little flowers over her face....so I hope I can share these pics some day. But not today.

After our Christmas at home, we headed to my parents home where both my brother and his family and my sister and her family were there. We also were able to see uncles and aunts and cousins. It was a fun time of celebrating together!

This is darling Ella Bella, my sister Sarah's youngest. Such a doll baby she is!! I can already imagine the messes Ella and Annie will be getting in together!!

After we left my parents house, we headed to Karl's sister's house where all of his family gathered. There are lots of musicians on this side of the family and so the instruments are always out and being played.

Karleigh Mei makes for a great backup on all sorts of instruments! :) I haven't a clue what this one is called. :)

How do you like her hair-do? This is what happens when you are away from home for an extended period of time! HA!

I'm sure she's helping cousin Emily in some way or another. I'm sure. :)

The babe was there too! Those toes are very, very yummy!!

Karleigh Mei on the rainstick. Trying her hardest not to smile. :) Sweet baby, I love her so!

On some sort of drum (I stink at knowing the names).

Karleigh Mei and her super-cool cousin David in their footie pj's. They were clearly the coolest ones (or should I say warmest?) around.

Emily playing us one of her many beautiful songs she has written. I could sit and listen to her all day!

And David too! Such talent in this family I tell ya!!

Karl's sister Tanya and Jeremiah. Jeremiah is the youngest of nine. :) She's a super mommy.

And here is the whole gang of Karl's side. It's been such an incredible joy to be apart of this wonderful family. To watch these kids grow into the fine young men and women they have become, has been such a treat. If you ever are losing hope in teenagers, you must come hang with this group. Such a blessing each and every one of them. I simply cannot wait to see how the Lord is going to use all of them for His glory!!  The only ones that are missing from this pic are Katie and Blake. And can you believe we all slept under one roof!?

Great family pictures! I think the instrument Karleigh Mei is sitting on is a drum box and the other is a djembe (pronounce jimbay). Emily & Allie play the djembe and want a drum box :0) Gotta love a house full of praise!
