Oh my goodness how I love this girl! I become so weepy when talking or thinking about how much I love her!!! I knew I would love her before we adopted her, but I didn't know the DEPTH of my love for her! As a mother of four other children I can say that without a shed of doubt, I love this girl as equally as the others. If there is anyone who is afraid to adopt because of this alone...have no fear in the love you will have!! Your love will overflow...and I mean OVERFLOW!! What an amazing thing adoption is!! What an amazing thing!!

It is great to know that you love Karleigh just like your other kids. I think this is a concern for some people thinking about adoption or in the early stages. I love that you are always so honest & open in your postings. Praying for you guys! Give that cutie a squeeze for me. She kinda looks ornery in this picture. I love that!

Hi Jenn,
I am glad I came to visit you today. My grandmother called me today and I told her about my plan to adopt and she told me that it's a dumb idea that I would never love an adopted child because it's not my blood running through her veins. She really upset me because I don't have my adopted daughter yet and I love her so much already. I don't know how she could have said so. Anyways, reading this entry really helped me realize that I am right in me having a lot of love for Maylin and that she can't change my mind. Bless you for your beautiful blog, I read it every other day and am happy that you have it.
