Katie's College Graduation

I can't believe how quickly time has passed and yet it seems like eons ago that my Katie was this tiny baby!! I was a VERY young mom (I turned 17 a month after I had her) and didn't have a clue what it was like to be a mom. I fell in love instantly with her...and then gave my life to Christ. That was the wisest decision I ever made!! The Lord has guided and directed me and blessed me ever since! So today I BOAST in the Lord and in what He has done in my life and my precious first daughter's life.

Tomorrow this beautiful little girl graduates from college and I have the extreme privilege of escorting her!! I love you Katie and I could not be more proud! Can't wait to continue celebrating YOU this summer!  Lots of wonderful things happening!!

Tomorrow is ALSO my mother's birthday. Thank you for believing in me Mom and being the incredible role model that you are. How we are going to celebrate tomorrow!! Oh...hey...and then the next day is Mother's Day!! I think the Lord wants us to keep celebrating!! :o)

What a sweet baby girl! No wonder you feel in love instantly. I was 17 when Ryan was born...cool "coincidence." Isn't the redemptive power of Christ amazing?!!!

Enjoy your celebrations!!!

Neat post, Jenn! Congrats on your daughter's college graduation...that's definitely something to celebrate!! Sounds like you have a very fun weekend in front of you...enjoy every moment!!! :)

My mom was also very young when she had me. She turned 18 one week before I was born. And a few years later she also gave her life to Christ. Though young she might have been, she was a WONDERFUL mother and today is one of my closest friends. I only wish she lived next door!! So of course your story struck a personal string in my heart. Blessings to all of you fine ladies and have a fabulous weekend together!! <><

Hugs,
Tanya
