"The Word" Wednesday

Lexie has left for Uganda, Africa!! Please pray for her and her group as they follow where the Lord leads them! I have included some blogs of others that are traveling with her on my side bar. You can pray for me as well, as it is INCREDIBLY hard letting your 16 yr. old daughter go to AFRICA! sigh. Putting my trust in the Lord!

Psalm 91 (The Message)

   I Say this: "
God, you're Lexie's refuge.
      I trust in you and she is safe!"
   That's right—he rescues Lexie from hidden traps,
      shields her from deadly hazards.
   His huge outstretched arms protect her—
      under them she's perfectly safe;
      his arms fend off all harm.
   She has nothing to fear—not wild wolves in the night,
      not flying arrows in the day,
   Not disease that prowls through the darkness,
      not disaster that erupts at high noon.
   Even if others succumb all around,
      drop like flies right and left,
      no harm will even graze her.
   She will stand untouched, watch it all from a distance,
      watch the wicked turn into corpses.
   Yes, because
God's her refuge,
      the High God her very own home,
   Evil can't get close to her,
      harm can't get through the door.
   He ordered his angels
      to guard her wherever she goes.
   If she stumbles, they'll catch her;
      their job is to keep her from falling.
   She will walk unharmed among lions and snakes,
      and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

Oh Jenn!!! I can only imagine!!! Your heart must be so FULL of so many emotions. I mean, you must be so proud of her--a 16-year-old WANTING TO GO to Africa for Missions! That is HUGE!!! And then the other emotions … TRUST, yes, that is what you have to do.

Wow. The time went by fast. It seems like she just posted on her blog that it was a month away.

Hugs friend!!!
