It was 6 months ago today that our life became so much fuller! The Lord blessed us with our darling girl, Karleigh Mei Qian. How far she has come from that sad and scared little girl who would pack up her things and stand at the hotel room door waiting to be taken back. It amazes me how much we loved her even then, without even really knowing her. What a blessing she has been to our family and we look forward to what the future holds for this precious little girl. Thank you Father, for this sweet gift of a daughter!

I've added one of Karleigh Mei's favorite songs, "Finally Home" by Mercy Me. I've got it playing. It's so sweet to hear her singing this in the back seat of the suburban...and for her to ask us to make it "loud"! We can't help but think how appropriate this song is for her to be singing, even though when they say "home" they mean Heaven.
