It's been too long since I've done a "Beautiful Life Friday" post.
School starts next week (Wed. 19th) and we have made the HUGE decision for Garrison to go to school this year. I have been homeschooling him since forever. It is a huge leap of faith for us. We are trusting in the Lord in all things. Sometimes what may appear to be an easy thing on the outside to others, is not quite as easy as it seems. For all the prayer warriors out there, I would so appreciate any and all prayers for our sweet boy, Garrison. And me too. I get so weepy just thinking about it. I'm a real stink to be around these days. :(
Anyway....(sniffle, sniffle)....Garrison is required to have his haircut and so off to the barber we went yesterday. I have a before and after shot.
Garrison "before" (He looks real excited about getting his locks cut doesn't he?)
And I found these pictures in my iphoto. They must have been from a "photo-shoot" Lexie had with Karleigh Mei while Garrison was off getting his hair cut. I thought that these were sweet pictures.
Got to be one of the girls with a camera!
Oh-so-sweet!
And how cute is this!? Karl got me a new phone this week and so I gave my "old" one to Karleigh Mei. She is SO proud of this phone!
I'd love to hear what beautiful life blessings you have in your life!

Oh, friend praying now!! We made the decision to send our boys to school this year too. I couldn't decide if we were going to send them both or just Cole (the oldest). In the end, we felt peace from God about our decision - but time will tell!! I think even knowing it is the right thing & that God will protect them, I am still just going to miss them like crazy cakes!
He looks so handsome with his new haircut! Looks like KM enjoyed her time while you were away. I love reading your blog!
I would have thought those were 2 different kids (the before and after shots). It really does look great on him- makes him look so mature. I hope he has a GREAT school year!
I'm with Laurie, if you had presented Garrison as two different kids I totally would have believed it!
Karleigh Mei with that camera is so precious! Looks like my house with the cameras and cell phones in hands of toddlers...
We too start school on Wed. after what seems like an already too short summer! I can only imagine how hard it would be to send him after home schooling for a season. It's hard enough just sending them period! I will join you in praying for all of our little loves headed out into the big world of learning! We have a first grader and a preschooler that will be starting this year. I pray that God will watch over them and protect them from the things He would not approve of.
I like the haircut on your guy too. It makes him look older! (He'd probably love hearing that!) And your school supply counter? We have a very similar style in our own house :-)
And as for blessings in our lives? ... I just received Baptism as an adult few hours ago along with 13 other folks. That was a wonderful opportunity to bring Glory to God!
Blessings to you!
