This morning it got quiet.

I went to investigate and I found Karleigh Mei in her closet...with SCISSORS!!
OHHHHHHHHH!! Do you KNOW how long we've been trying to grow out your bangs Karleigh Mei!!?? They had JUST reached the point that they could be gathered up into your pretty little "maliahs" (pig-tails).

OH MY GOSH!! I hear about this all the time, but as of yet (knock HARD on wood!) we have not encountered this at our house. I think my little darling thinks a little too highly of her own hair to mess with it. Ha! But seriously, the end product looks GREAT!! It's just adorable!
One of those days that every mother (of little girls, especially!) hopes will NEVER come! She didn't do too bad though...at least they weren't chopped at the scalp!! She's actually very cute with bangs, too!...and they've been making a BIG comeback in all the fashion mags...so she's perfectly STYLE'IN! :)
I'm not gonna say anything cause sure enough I do my Mattilyn will be finding the sizzors.... lol Pictures are cute.

We have already had MANY threats about this very topic :) I am actually SO confident that I HAVE hair cutting scissors IN the drawer in Mya's bathroom where her bows & hair ties are. Well, confident or stupid - we'll decide when it happens to me :)
I, personally, LOVE the bangs!
That has never happened to us yet! I still do not let Ashlyn cut anything unless she is sitting at the kitchen table with her pulled up. She is 6 years old!! KM looks adorable with the new cut!
Oh! It's actually very cute! Lily did the same thing when she was about Karleigh Mei's age. She didn't end up growing out her bangs again for a couple of years after that.
