Blog Book

I finally did it! I finally had my blog printed into a book. This book has the very beginning of my blog, until the end of '08, which included our trip to China to pick up Karleigh Mei. So, from here on out, I'll just make yearly blog books. This is why I try and blog regularly and add so many pictures. :) I used Blog2print. It was just the easiest one to use and I didn't have the time or patience to use any other one. I really, really, REALLY liked Blurb though and think I would have preferred it. I just liked the ease of Blog2Print though. :)

VERY cool!!! I have "started" doing it on blurb (nothing solid yet) but this IS the reason I blog so much :) Did you include EVERY post & EVERY picture or was there some you left out?? I really need to invest the time - I LOVE this in lieu of scrapbooks!

It looks GREAT! I'm so jealous! I need to go do that for my blog when I was on blogger, but no one seems to do them when you use the Apple stuff, so I'll have to do a search and find something.

How neat is that?! I guess I had no idea that such printers existed. I will definitely be looking into it, as I always thought I'd have to figure out a way to do it myself...a painstaking task on my own, I'm sure. Do they also include the 'comments' from fellow bloggers in the book, should you choose? Thanks for sharing!!

Hugs,
Tanya

I may try that one. I did my first blog book with Blurb and was just about to start my 2nd one. Blurb was giving me trouble, so I will try the next one.

This is great. I did Ruthie's through Shutterfly, but I had to cut and paste everthing over and do all the editing myself. Did they just do all of that for you or is it the same kind of thing as Shutterfly photobooks? I did Ruthie's from the beginning until home and it turned out great. It was about $89 for those of you looking into it and was around 60 pages. Was that comparable to yours Jen? It is good to compare so we know what to do next time.

I don't ever comment on my own posts, but thought I'd add that my book was 205 pages and the total cost was $76.54. I will add that I think I had a coupon (that they give out from time to time) for 15% off.

so cool and can't wait for our yeat to be up so I can print it. I wish I could tell it to add all the shutterfly photos cause man what a pain in te behind shutterfly is to make a photo book.

Yeah!!! I've been hoping someone would blog about this. It seems we all have questions so here's mine; If I have my blog made over will it show all the old posts with the pre-make over design?

Yours turned out great!!!!

I love the book! I've started one for our journey to Claire through Blurb. You've motivated me to get it finished and ordered! For now, my blog has become my scrapbook and my way to document the things that are happening in our family so I love that it can be turned into a book!

Hugs,
Robin

I so need to do this myself. I had found a service to do it for me (for I'm sure what would have been more money) but I'm guessing they went under while they were working on my book. I haven't heard from them since October...
My blog is also my scrapbook ~ with two toddlers, who has time for getting out all the supplies?
