~Flashback Friday~

A couple of days ago I got an email from my orphanage adoption yahoo group that said they had found some pictures online, taken in November '08. A local automobile company had treated the kids to lunch at McDonald's, a trip to the movies, and a haircut. ?? :) You can imagine my excitement, because that was just weeks/days before we got Karleigh Mei! She was in just about every picture!

Here she is, once again, at McDonald's*. You might remember this post I wrote about how McDonald's reminded her of her friends left behind. She's the super cute one in the pink jacket. :)

Walking to McDonald's* (in the pink jacket)

Getting their hair cut. She's the super cute one on the far right. :)

A picture after the hair cuts.

And off to the movies! (She is right under the ladies elbow)
What fun it was to look at these pictures of our darling girl. It is another reminder that she does have experiences that we are completely unaware of. My prayer is that all of them were as normal and fun-filled as these pictures show.

What an unexpected gift to peek into her life days before her new life began with her new family! She will someday enjoy and treasure these along with the memories you are making now.
Thanks for sharing the joy!

Wow...how priceless to have these photos. I often think of Khloe's experiences in her life already and all that she is still experiencing while at NewDay. We are so blessed that she is there under such amazing care until we can bring her home. Photos like these are such a gift! I know KM will treasure them greatly when she is older.

Have a blessed weekend!! <><

What an amazing gift! So happy for you and Karleigh Mei!

I wanted to let you know I'm praying!!! It sounds painful to me; I hope your sweetie does not have any pain and all goes well!

P.S. Feel free not to publish if you are not putting the surgery stuff on the blog. I decided to put it here b/c lately the AW group seems sporadic with post. Wanted you to know I saw your note and am PRAYING!!!

Love and Hugs, Leslie
