Today, October 14, is a special date in my family. October 14th is the day that Karl and I "reunited" and the date that Karl met Katie for the first time (you can read our story ----> here). Today it has been 20 yrs. for that anniversary.
Here is a picture of us that weekend all those years ago.
It is also the day, 17 yrs. ago, that Karl's adoption of Katie was complete.
And as silly as it is, today is ALSO the one year anniversary of my blog! :o) I wouldn't have dreamed a year ago what a blessing this silly blog has been to me. The friends that I have "met" over the last year have blessed me so and been such an encouragement to me during this wait for our Karleigh Mei.
Now wouldn't it be so sweet if this was ALSO the date we could celebrate China approving us in the adoption of our sweet, sweet girl!?

That would be amazing!!! Happy Anniversary! I so feel what you are feeling! We waited 97 days for our RA and it seemed like everyone around us was getting theirs way quicker! I've been praying for you guys this morning that today would be the day for you! You must post ASAP after you get the RA call, ya hear?

What an amazing testimony you and Karl have of redemption!!! I love to read about broken lives that have been restored and how God pours His grace into them. Your story is such a testimony of what God can do with a life that is surrendered to Him.
I am praying and hoping with you that your RA will be here before the week is out!! I cannot wait to see a picture of your gorgeous girl!!
