Driving Permit, Waiting Pets and day 89

Yesterday I met with Karleigh Mei's Ped. Opthamologist. Karleigh Mei's special need is that she is blind in her right eye. It was good to hear, AGAIN, that she won't be limited to anything!  She can do and be whoever her little heart desires! She also recommended that she wear "safety glasses" to protect her good eye. I hope she will wear them!  I'm going to start praying for that. :o) It will be fun to take her shopping for some cute little glasses. I'm thinking she will need several pairs. Don'tcha' think? ;o)

Yesterday my 15 yr. old daughter, Lexie, got her driver's permit. So this is your warning to all who are out on the road! So if you see Jake and his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal----I mean Karl and Lexie--out on the road, use EXTRA caution! :o) We've had LOTS of people tell us that Karl either looks like Jake G. or Lexie looks like Maggie G. Isn't that funny?!? What do you think?

Karleigh Mei is not only going to have 2 sisters, 2 brother and a mom and dad at home, but she will also have 2 dogs and a cat.

This first picture is of Sophie. I'm hoping that Sophie will be on her best behavior when she meets Karleigh Mei for the first time.

I don't have a better picture of our good and faithful dog Mabel. Mabel may be big, but she is all love. You can tell she loves Gannon in this picture.

And this picture is of our cat Dandelion. Dandelion is a sweet kitty we adopted (or rather she adopted us!). She also caught the adoption bug. When we took her in, she was expecting kittens. That litter ended up being all stillborn. :o( But we found some rescue kittens that she adopted and raised. You can read more about her adopted kitties at this post ----> here. Dandelion is a super-sweet cat and I just know that Karleigh Mei will enjoy pat, patting her.

In Karleigh Mei's papers it says that she is fond of imitating actions from adults.

Karleigh Mei...we can't wait to show you all that we have waiting for you!

Hi Jenn,
Love the pictures that you posted today of your pets! They are adorable. I would love to be there to see Karleigh Mei's reaction to them. We have two labrador retrievers that are a big part of our family. I often wonder what Kylie Grace's reaction will be. Also, you are a step ahead of us on the driver's permit. Our son, Kennan, just turned 15 and is hoping to get his very soon!
Have a great day...as always, I am praying for you.
Blessings, Cheryl (awaa friend)

Jenn,
I love reading about your talented families!!!! How fun it must be around the piano or a bonfire with your crew! Maybe Karleigh Mei will have the gift of music too!!!!
As for the pets.. Ruby screamed her head off when she first met our two rowdy dogs.. Now, she loves them up and constantly talks about the "woofs" in her life!

SOON you will be introducing her to all the people and furry friends that love her already!

Blessings,
Diana

Congratulations on the permit! My oldest son is 13 and we are already scared to death! Hard to believe how quickly they grow up! Love the pictures of the pets. We are big on the four legged family members around here and even on the feathered kind. Yes chickens are our pets too! They too have a sweet side and my Kamden "loves on them"! I am going to have to blog about our doggies too! Take care!
