Karleigh Mei's Official Name

I just know some of you are going to think I'm crazy (and most of the time I will agree). When I chose Karleigh for a name, it was originally short for Caroline and it was going to be spelled Carlie. But I didn't like the way Carlie was spelled.  And then I saw the name Karleigh and fell in love with it!! 

Okay...so what to do about Caroline? I ended up giving up thinking about it, because I've just had too many other things to think about. But every time I hear the name Caroline, I just really, really want that to be a part of her name too. 

SOOOO...I finally decided that I would regret leaving this name out and this is what I have decided.  Her name is going to be officially Karoline Mei Qian "Our Last Name".  Originally I did not like Karoline spelled with a "K"...but now I am in love with it! My husband's name (for those that don't know) is Karl, and Karoline is the feminine form of this. I also love seeing his name in her name--Karleigh.  :o) Also...my two other girls are named Katherine, but we call her Katie and Alexandra and we call her Lexie. Sooo...we are used to having an official different name than what they are called by everyone. Confusing enough??  :o)
