Shower For Karleigh Mei

Today marks 102 days that we have been waiting for our RA/LOA. Every morning when I get up I'm always so hopeful that "today will be the day"....only for it to be way too quiet. sigh. It has been almost 4 weeks since anyone has received RA/LOA, so I KNOW it has to be any day now! So....trying to keep busy.

I took Gannon to a dr. this morning and it appears he may have broken his foot. :o( So he can't play the last 2 weeks of soccer games and he has to use crutches. We find out next week if his foot is for sure broken.

This past weekend was a busy one. My oldest daughter, Katie and my sister came down for the weekend (by herself...she has 3 little boys)!! And my mom and dad also came this weekend--as did my mother in law. My incredible friends here in town hosted a baby shower for Miss Karleigh Mei!  We had a lot of fun. This girl is for sure loved by so many!! And she is for sure not going to be dressed too shabby!!  

We also had a dinner in honor of my 2nd darling girl...Alexandra!  Lexie turns 16 (weep!) on November 19th and we thought we would surprise her by having a dinner in honor of her!! All of us ladies chipped in and bought her favorite ring too. So now she can look at the ring and remember that she has so many of us who love her!!

And almost all of the pictures from Karleigh Mei's shower that I have is of ME!  Ugh. I thought I would share this picture of one of the things that Karleigh Mei received. Remember, her papers say she loves beautiful clothes and beautiful shoes! So don't be surprised if you bump into us at Target and this is what she is wearing! :o) What three year old WOULDN'T want to wear this??
