My Mother Heart....

I should be packing for my trip...but I had to record this here. I am a very blessed woman. My life has not been perfect, I have made many mistakes. But through the incredible grace of God He blesses and blesses me. I cannot begin to tell you how very blessed I am. I sometimes feel swept off my feet by my God, my savior, Jesus. He has already given me the most treasured gift..the gift of salvation...given just because He loves me so....and no other reason...nothing I've done or could do. Thank you, Jesus. Yet He continues to love me and bless me. I am a mother and a wife. I am the wife of an amazing man who loves and follows the Lord. It is because Karl loves the Lord and listens to His calling that we are adopting. The Lord blesses me through Karl. 

I am a mother. I have five children. :o) (Karleigh Mei we are coming for you!!) I have a pre-teen, two teenagers, a young adult and a darling, precious three year old waiting for us to love and protect. To all those who fear what a house full of teenagers will be like..fear not! Show them Christ...and you will be blessed beyond measure. Far beyond measure. I got this email from my Katie girl this morning. This is part of it... 

"I love you Mom and I am praying for you constantly!! Like I said before I left, have fun while you are there. This is a life experience you will possibly never experience again so soak up every minute of it. Try your hardest not to let any overwhelming detail over cloud your view of what an amazing blessing from God this entire trip will be. I have told you many times....but I tell you again with increasing fervor.....I am so proud of you and truly look up to you. The sacrifices you have made for me and my siblings and now for sweet little Karleigh Mei are amazing. I can never thank you enough! You're the best Mom! :)".

I am so blessed by this young woman of God. What a gift that I am her mother. What a treasure she is! 

And then this evening I went to my 16 yr old's blog and read this:

My parents leave for CHINA in 1 and a  1/2 days!

I looked up verses this morning on Thanksgiving. I know, thanksgiving was a while ago...but I can't help but keeping THANKING God for this! It is happening! And all because of HIM.

I just love that!  Applaud God! 

So right now I just want to say thank you, God! Thank you for what you have done in this adoption!!! You knew the desires of our hearts and brought Karleigh Mei to us. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

I love you sweet baby girl! Your big day is almost here! The day that you will get a forever family. An orphan no more! You are such a loved little girl...and you don't even know it yet!! God has big plans for you, sweet girl! I feel so blessed to have you has my sister. You are so beautiful to me and the absolute perfect one for our family. 

Last night I had a dream that when momma and daddy went to pick you up, they said that another family had already come to be your forever family! In my dream I was crying and crying. They offered us another little girl...but I wanted YOU! When I woke up I was so relieved. You are ours!!! And nobody can ever take you from us. I love you, I love you, I LOVE YOU!

Father God....You are so good to me. So very good. I love you and I humbly thank you. Please make me Your hands and feet Lord...so that others will know your extreme love for each one of us.
