Our Pretty Girl...

We are having lots of fun with our darling girl! We all love her so very much! Karleigh Mei helped her big sisters make some banana bread the other day. She was a big help! And she loved licking the batter off of the blender whisks. :o) We also took her to a nearby park yesterday. She LOVED the swing and could have swung for a very long time. We are on the hunt for one to hang in our tree in our backyard. They are hard to find this time of year. Think I'll just order one off the world wide web.

Last night was a little bit better. Yesterday I was able to talk Karleigh Mei's best friend's mom on the phone (THANK YOU for the phone call Mary Beth!!). Her little friend was adopted by a family here in the states not too long ago. Amazingly, they both cried out the same thing at night. Last night I gave her a bottle--and this seemed to give her great comfort. She was so sweet too, as she wanted her hand on my face ALL night long. I loved it. I didn't sleep too well...but she slept like a baby! Thank you to everyone who is praying...keep it up!!

So You needed to regress her back with bottles and touch. I guess treat her like a baby at night so she can feel more secure and not think she has to sooth herself. Very interesting. Thanks Jenn for the update. I so hope you can get some sleep.

OH MY WORD!!! I am gushing over here just seeing her all smiles and getting so much lovin'. OK, did I read that right? Sleeping with Mama! ;) Yep, S starts out in her bed now b/c that is what works, but about 2 a.m. when she wakes up for her "milky", she comes to bed with Mama and boy does she cuddle!!! LOVE IT!!! Don't you think it is as if they are thinking, so this is what my heart has been missing?

I am so thrilled for you all!

I was just looking at Karleigh Mei's shoes at Sherry's Place this morning! I had to come back & count our money. The $$ seems like monopoly money, not real & there's a LOT more of it when you exchange it!!

But, I am getting some of those shoes!

Jenn,

So cute . . . love the little piggy tail and the bow . . . and the whisk licking picture . . . and the park outfit!

Teddi loves to swing too! By the way, I saw pink Littl* Tykes swings at T*ys R Us (at The Forum) last week. Teddi has the red/yellow/blue version, it's a todder swing. Perfect for calming down a wired girl!

Christmas blessings to all of you, hope you are winning the battle over jet lag.

Hi Jenn!
She is ADORABLE in her new MJ outfit!!!! What a blessing that she is home to wear it! It sounds like she is really doing great. Continue to love her up and be consistent in all you do. She will be thriving in every way in no time. MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Wanting you to touch her face....that brought back a flood of memories. Xiao Gou used to reach out and grab my hand to put it against her face as she drifted off to sleep. It does break a mother's heart because you know it is their fear of losing you that most time causes this action...Congrats on a successful Gotcha Day!
