Now here is what they have to say!
We are having a better day today. :o) We went to a pagoda this morning..and played the tourist. The Chinese people are very interested in her with us. We had one young couple take their picture with us and their little one. We came back to the hotel and Karl went and got us some food. There is a very good Chinese food restaurant right next to our hotel. Karleigh Mei Qian Qian had her first bath today. She liked it VERY much after some coaxing. She played for quite a while. And we all got pretty wet. :o) She is in LOVE with her Daddy(just a side note from me...my dad was telling me that the other night they put her to bed and she was crying a very hurt little cry :( so he took her out and placed her in the middle of them and she immediately searched for his hand and grabbed it! And then fell right to sleep! Aww...). She just tolerates me. But that is okay. She is a dear little thing and I love her so! She is very smart and she is very sweet. She has THE sweetest little smile...and pearly white teeth! We plan on going out this evening to the nearby store and there is a Pizza Hut too. I used my hip carrier at the Pagoda. I LOVE it...very nice to have. Thank you all for the wonderful comments and suggestions for our little stubborn girl. They are a lifesaver. Keep them coming if anyone has any others. We are just going to love her through it all. I have to remember the reason why I'm even here...it's not for me, but for her. She is so precious and already so worth whatever it takes!!!
I am talking to them via skype as i type!! She is just to sweet!! It sounds like they had a very good day today. YAY! My mom said "Can you say Lexie???" and she says..."say Lexie" in the sweetest voice. Oh so sweet!!! Ok, enjoy! I am gonna keep talking to them...

Checking this blog is my first thought when I open my eyes in the morning! And what great pictures today! YIPPEE! I love the smiles. I know each day she will grow closer with you guys and see Jesus in you! She will! I'm sure of it! We are still praying for you. I am so happy that yesterday was a better day. I felt like it would be. Day three just seems like a turning point, I tell you.
It was so fun seeing her all dressed up, wearing a bow, taking a bath, etc. As someone who has a daddy's girl, I know it can be hard when we see the little girl we longed for, prayed for, and wanted so badly not want us in the same degree...I still struggle with that sometimes. However, she is bonding. She is loving. She is trusting. Those are all wonderful signs! I also bet she likes you more than you think, Jenn. If she didn't, at three she wouldn't let you put her in the hip carrier. To me, that was a really positive sign. These three year olds are sassy, independent, and know what they want and for Lindy it is usually to be down and moving.
I pray today will be even happier. I hope you have a great day and feel covered in prayer.

I'm rejoicing with you that there is a smile! So glad to hear that she is beginning to bond with at least one of you. Jenn, offer her lots of little treats as sweet things are often the way to a child's heart. Of course we all know that God is more in control of that than food, so I'm still praying!

OK, I see she had a bath and looks like she Loved it! Yippee!!! jenn, you are doing great and you are a wonderful Mommy! I just wanted to praise you a bit! Love you sister! And she is adorable by the way! She looks sort of small in the bath, long but lean maybe. You'll get some meat on her no doubt in TEXAS!!!
Take care and enjoy her province to the fullest. You'll miss it when you leave. We still do even though our visit was different. There is just something special there!
