Do you see this darling, DARLING girl? Her name is Lucia, and she is four years old. We are sponsoring her through Children's HopeChest. She receives care at the Beveni Carepoint. You are once again being used by God to totally break my heart!!! I have been praying about a place to sponsor a child in Africa!!! This is the answer!! ( I also have wanted to sponsor one from China too) and now that we will be moving back to the States it will be easier to do this!!!

Beautiful Girl. To bad you can't go get her and bring her home:( But I guess if we brought all these children home that are just poor not orphaned instead of helping them where they are at, Their countrys would fall apart cause all the kido's would be gone. Thats why I love these programs like the one your in. We can help them get strong and educated so they can run thier country one day and whats cool is some our also learning about Jesus so they can spread The Gospels to thier people. so Cool Jenn

Just went to the site and they currently have all the sponsors for the children. I am so happy that they have but would still love to sponsor one. I can still apply to do so and start paying now and when there are profiles available, they will let me know! It is a good job I did not share the pics with the kids and ask them to pray about which on! God is obviously moving on the hearts of His people and it is exciting to see!
I love how Tonya said we can "help these kids where they're at" - cause that is so true! Just like Jesus meets us where WE are at - we have the same spirit living in us that gives us the power to help others - right where they are........
I am the sponsorship coordinator for the carepoint where Lucia receives care. Currently, 117 children are sponsored and 10 are not. Oh YAY Jen ... I am so glad you scooped up Lucia. I had been wondering ever since you posted on Deb's FB about her. She indeed wore her best dress and was ready for her picture ... for her sponsor family! She is a Q.T.!!!
One of these days, Jen, we're going to get there to Swaziland and meet those beauties of ours. To think, Zama probably even plays with Lucia as they meet at the care point for their meals etc.
