So sorry I have been so late in updating after Karleigh Mei's surgery! We've had a busy weekend. :)
Karleigh Mei woke up Saturday morning, and was back to her normal, happy, chatty, bouncy self! It amazes me how quickly after surgery she bounces back!
It's still hard to tell exactly how her eye will heal up, but we feel that it looks fabulous right now...just 3 days after surgery! It is still pretty tight and swollen. She is such a darling girl and all we can see is the beautiful girl that she IS!
Here are some pictures of her "working the camera". :) Have I mentioned before how much I love this girl?? :)
I thought I'd share these pictures of Karleigh Mei, taken almost exactly a year ago! This picture was taken before she had any surgery on her eye. You can see how much of her eyelid was missing and how wonderful her eye looks now!! She still was such a darling, DARLING girl! Oh...my sweet baby girl!

Wow! She's looking great! I'm so glad to know that she is back and working the camera again. She has grown so much and come so far. Our God's restorative power never ceases to amaze me!

Wow...what a great improvement over a year ago! Gotta love great progress!! God is GOOD! :) She is such a trooper and as beautiful as ever. She has the smootchiest little cheeks and sweet smile! Love her!!

She is just precious. I watched the video you put together. She has come so far from the little girl in the pink coat waiting by the door. God is good. She has just blossomed right before your eyes.

That is amazing! She IS beautiful before and after the surgery ... but it is amazing to see her eyelid more completely covering her eye. She will someday be even more thankful for this surgery when she does the whole eye-make up thing. I am SO thankful she was brought into your family. She is just beaming!
