I need to get better at this Sunday Snapshot. My life is crazy sometimes and I have to slow down just a bit to do this. Today I did just that and snagged my oldest son, Gannon, and took him out and snapped some photos of him.
About Gannon.
Gannon is growing like a weed. Like a weed I'm telling you! He's grown almost 2 feet in the last year. No joke. And you can only imagine how much food he's eating. Lots. This boy can eat! And not an ounce of fat to show for it either! Enjoy it while it lasts Gannon! HA! .....sigh.
Gannon has one of the most tender hearts of any young man I've ever known. He's just like his Dad! He is also so incredibly good with children. I'm believing it's a gift. And kids really like Gannon too!
Gannon also loves all things furry. This pic has way too much light in it (need to run it through Lightroom*), but I liked it nonetheless. Here is Gannon and our sweet Sophie dog.
Gannon and Mabel have been pals for almost his whole life. Gannon will be 15 in March and Mabel will be 12 in April. Gannon always loves on Mabel, even when she's smelly. :)
And Mabel adores Gannon right back! :)
Gannon is a blessing in our family. I am so thankful for Gannon!

Awww, your Sophie looks like our Sophie (she's a cavachon)!
I can't believe how much Gannon has grown!! Oh my goodness; I am already noticing the eating around here - I assume over the next few years it is going to get much worse - I may have to take a part time job to pay for the groceries!
I am still hanging in there with the Sunday Snapshot - though I am feeling really lazy - we'll see what I can come up with :)
Happy Sunday,
Sara
I love a kid that loves all things furry! What compassion. Love the photos!
He sounds amazing! You have done a great job in 'training' up your children in the way they should go... cuz 'good character' is something they all possess! Hold onto that boy...I want to set him up with my Breanna in, say, 5 years!! ;) Seriously though, he is the kind of boy I pray that Breanna will fall in love with one day. Christ-centered with a tender heart. I started praying for my children and their 'one day' boyfriend/girlfriend/spouses when they were just babies, after hearing James Dobson talking about doing that for his children. He said it is never too late or too early to start. Your children have modeled the love and character that you and your husband have portrayed. And I have a great deal of respect for you and the amazing job you have done! ( I seen it in Lindsey, too!) Take care and have a blessed week! <><
(((hugs!)))
Oh the picture of Mabel loving on Gannon. Precious!
Love these pictures and can't believe how much Gannon has grown. He's such a kind young man.
I saw Sunday Snapshot on Sara's blog and have thought about doing it but my material is kind of limited. :-)
You did a great job!
Love~
