Readoption

Today we went down to the "Corner House", aka Court House, and had Karleigh Mei's Readoption. It really just felt like a photo op with the Judge. :) I think Karleigh Mei almost hit him in the head with his own gavel. Woops! Now I can officially say we are DONE with Karleigh Mei's adoption! Yay! She's mine all mine!!! Don't forget to scroll down and enter my giveaway if you haven't already!

Karleigh Mei swearing that we are super nice parents. :)

Garrison also witnessing to the fact that we are super nice parents. :)

Karleigh Mei "helping" feed sweet little Gracie --an adorable blessing from Ethiopia who was also readopted today with us!

And I totally swiped this picture from my friend Elissa's blog. :) Here is most of our group. There were seven blessings readopted all together. The Lord has blessed us in SO MANY ways with these group of families!!

Congratulations on Karleigh Mei's readoption. So much more fun in your state that here in NC ~ we don't get the formality of going before a judge.
Not that we've done it, yet. Caleb came so quickly after Kylie that we figured we'd wait and do them both at the same time and then came Darcy...

Sweet!! Our judge ACTUALLY read all of our stuff. She read our home study and all of our documents - it was weird. So, definitely more than a photo op - like she POSSESSED the power to NOT let us re-adopt Mya.

Yes, It was uncomfortable until the very end ;)

Congratulations ;-)

What a great day! We didn't do this. Bad parents! I mean, we did but we opted out of the court part b/c it was more money. Like I said, bad parents!

I do love seeing the photo ops though and that was one big gavel! Karleigh Mei seemed quite confident holding it though. ;)
