Home Sweet Home!!!

We are home from Karleigh Mei's eyelid surgery this morning. The doctor felt really good about it. This should be her last one until she is teenager'ish. :)

Yesterday, we drove out of town for her pre-op appointment with her doctor and to pre-register at the hospital.

Here is a picture of Karleigh Mei with her doctor.

After we were done with all of our pre-op appointments, we went to the movies! This girl can put down some popcorn!

After her surgery this morning, she was in quite a bit of pain. I tell you, that hurts this mama's heart so much!! After we got in the car to come back home, she started feeling so much better!! A little St*rbucks doesn't hurt either!

Here is my darling girl singing her heart out to "Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I love you, Tomorrow..."

I love this girl so!

We don't know what her eyelid looks like yet, we will take the patch off tomorrow. Thanks for all the prayers! They have been felt!

PS Her starbucks drink was NOT a caffeinated one! :)

Is she drinking a decaf frappicino? Oh she is so very precious! Praying for pain to subside and for the surgery to have been a success!

So happy to know that you are back home with your singing girl, brave Karleigh Mei! When Teddi and I prayed for KM this morning, Teddi's biggest concern was, "mama, daddy"? I reassured her, "Yes, Karleigh Mei's mama and daddy will be with her."

Oh thank you Jesus that our girls have mamas and daddys to hold them close!

Heal quickly Karleigh Mei!

Love you,

Tina and Teddi

She is SO brave! I will be praying that all goes well from here on out and that the unveiling is wonderful! I can only imagine the butterflies of what to expect? She is precious on the inside and outside, with the patch and without it too. Glad she made it through with such a spirited attitude. We could all take a little lesson from her tenacity and loveliness!

Jenn, I'm so sorry I missed your post about her surgery. I really need to figure out the blog reader thing everybody talks about!

I am so thankful it went well and I will pray she does not have any post-op pain. Poor baby and Mommy! I get that! It is so hard to let them go back.

S has her next surgery on March 8, and I'm already dreading it for so many reasons.
